Stunning performance!!!!! This is my favorite Requiem and I finally get to sing it again this fall with the YAVAPAI COLLEGE MASTER CHORALE CHORALE IN Prescott AZ. I am a retired “Pop” singer from the 70s . My husband and I performed as Captain and Tennille. Our first #1 hit record was Love Will Keep Us Together in 1975. He and I were both classically trained although his favorite music was boogie and mine was jazz. When we semi retired and moved to Prescott AZ, I joined the Yavapai College Master Chorale and decided to Decided to study classical voice to see how far I could take my voice to contribute to the classical style of the chorale. Thanka to a great bocal teacher, I expanded my range up to a G and am now a certified mezzo! I post under my dog’s name. Just wanted you and your entire chorale ensemble and fine orchestra how moved I was by their superb performance!!!

This is a very listenable work and deserves wider exposure. A performance at the Proms in London wouldn't go amiss. I send them annual programs and will include it. Most enjoyable.

Commendable performance all around. I have a feeling that those in the room - rather than just listening to the recording - heard a slightly better balance between orchestra and chorus. Still, all were disciplined and praiseworthy.

These singers are amongst the very best choral groups in the world. The group of soloist sopranos and mezzos are outstandingly good by international standards as are their solo tenors. All the River tree videos have amazing sound recordings which pick out not only the vocal, but instrumental accompanists to perfection. Wonderful, wonderful and ecstatically beautiful performances of Dan Forrest's superb range of works along with many others. I can't stop listening to them!!

I have never experienced the range of emotions Requiem For The Living invokes. In the past 4 years, I have experienced the death of 3 members of my family and I know they were looking down from Heaven smiling. If this piece is any indication of what Heaven is going to sound like, I can’t wait!!

I can't stop listening to this marvellous, beautiful, uplifting and moving work of pure genius. One of the great choral works of all time and, sung and played with fantastic🎉 enthusiasm by the superb River tree group. Music of epic proportions

Two of my favorite 20th Century composers were Ennio Morricone and Erich Wolfgang Korngold. Two of my more recent 21st Century composers are Philippe Rombi and Dan Forrest. So much beauty produced by these four masters.

A stunningly relaxed, expansive, and accurate performance of this wonderful piece, especially considering the complexity of performing with such a large group! It is indeed appropriate to have so many involved, however, since the full majesty of the subject matter is intensified. Gotta love RUclips! It is so worthwhile to experience the contrast between this large enterprise and the Salt lake Choral Artists more intimate chamber version. Each one has its strengths.
